  • Why Composite Decks?

    Advantages of Composite Decks:

    • Retains color for years.
    • No need for repainting, staining, or sealing.
    • Resists mildew, warping,  and insects.
    • Available in many more colors and textures
    • Match your deck color to your outdoor furniture or your home's exterior.
    • Costs only a few dollars more than traditional wood decks.

    Disadvantage:

    • Can be hot under bare feet.
  • What About a Wood Deck?

We can also build a traditional wood deck:

    Advantage:

    • It costs slightly less initially over a composite deck but costs more over a composite deck's lifecycle.

    Disadvantages:

    • Requires more maintenance over their lifetime, including yearly cleaning, sanding, painting, and sealing.
    • Cracking, rotting, warping, weathering, and fading are all realities for decks constructed from premium hardwoods
    • Subjected to mold, mildew, and termite damage.
    • Premium hardwoods degrade over time with simple sun exposure.
